A day of Stately Skåne

Save a day for the castles and mansions of Skåne – you'll be amazed. Here is an example of how such a day could look.

Snapphane breakfast in the park
Start your tour with breakfast at Hovdala Manor Park, one of the most significant manors of the snapphane period. Lay out your picnic on the lawn or a table, or buy breakfast at the manor café. Every summer different exhibitions are held in the orangery, which dates from 1790. Just to the southwest of Hässleholm.

Rowing on the lake
To the south of Höör lies Bosjökloster. Borrow a rowing boat and gain a new perspective of this beautiful, whitewashed mansion. The exact age of the mansion is unknown, but Pope Lucius III wrote about it in 1811.

Lunch at the mansion
To the northwest of Skurup lies the ‘long' brick mansion of Svaneholm on the shore of the lake, Svaneholmsjö. Follow up lunch at the mansion restaurant with a visit to the folklore museum.
